Although it's 3 miles past downtown Dawsonville, we'll be repeat customers because the owner and staff here are exceptional folks ~ true dog lovers who care for your pet as their own. plus reassure you that they will be in good hands. Happy Dog Retreat has wide open fenced places for your dogs to play, and the indoor pens where they sleep are side by side with other dog's pens to provide each other company. While we were on vacation so were our dogs! We originally planned to board them off Brown's Bridge Road at the nearest place to Cobblestone Farms, but when we visited there we sadly saw it offered no outdoor play area for dogs, so visit in person and take a tour before you commit somewhere else.
